For high-demand destinations, expedition cruises, and peak season travel, 6–12 months in advance ensures the best availability and rates. That said, we can often work with shorter timelines — reach out and we'll see what's possible.
A professional planning retainer applies for fully customized itineraries. This covers research, supplier negotiations, and the time invested in designing your trip properly. All fees are disclosed before planning begins — no surprises.

U.S. citizens traveling internationally require a valid passport with at least 6 months validity past the return date. Some countries require a visa. All names on documents must match your legal photo ID exactly. We'll walk you through what's required for your specific trip.
Passports are highly recommended for all cruises, even closed-loop sailings that depart and return to a U.S. port. A passport allows you to fly to meet your ship if you miss embarkation and to return independently if you need to disembark early. Some cruise lines require a passport regardless — we'll confirm requirements for your specific sailing.
Federal regulations require REAL ID-compliant documents for domestic air travel. Visit dhs.gov/real-id to verify your state ID qualifies. Your passport always satisfies this requirement.
Some countries may deny entry based on past legal decisions, convictions, or other factors. It is the client's responsibility to verify they are admissible to all destinations on their itinerary. We're happy to point you toward the right resources.
No. Pricing transparency is a core value. All fees are disclosed before planning begins.

Yes. We use an automated process to monitor for price reductions. Price reductions will be processed when the savings exceed $50 per person. Note that some rates and non-refundable fares do not allow reductions after final payment — we'll always be upfront about which category applies to your booking.
You have access to our support during travel. Each itinerary is reconfirmed before departure, and we monitor your trip for any issues that may arise.
We handle re-bookings, supplier negotiations, and coordination so disruptions are resolved as quickly as possible — behind the scenes, without you having to manage it.
Ocean and river cruise itineraries can be affected by weather, river levels, or mechanical issues. These decisions are made by the cruise line and are beyond our control. We'll communicate any changes promptly and advocate for compensation or alternatives on your behalf.
Entry requirements and health protocols vary by destination and change frequently. It is the client's responsibility to stay current on requirements for all destinations on their itinerary. We'll help point you in the right direction when planning begins.

We advocate directly with suppliers for swift resolution. If an experience doesn't meet expectations, we work to make it right.
